Lebetha Mae Bigham 

On Friday morning, Jan. 29, 2021, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called home his faithful servant, Mrs. Lebetha Mae Bigham.

Mrs. Bigham was the wife of Sidney James Bigham Jr. who passed away in December of 2000.  

She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Jones (Ronnie), Ellen Bigham, Debera Scott (Burke), Renata Belt (David), Cynthia Bigham-Derry, Travis Bigham (Penny), Pamela Davis (Norvell), Mae Scaggs, Angela Freeman (Jimmy), Bertha Mitchell, Rowena Henderson, Bonita Weaver, and Dylan Jones (Janis).

Mrs. Bigham was additionally blessed with 22 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.  

Ms. Bigham served the Lord and her community.  She was a member of Kings Christian House of Prayer and attended several other churches in her community. She was truly a loving mother, prayer warrior, confidant, and friend to many.  She would respond to a greeting with the words: “Wonderfully Blessed.”  Her words of encouragement were “Hold on to Jesus.”  

Although she will be truly, truly missed by all who knew her, we can be comforted by the fact that she is “Safe in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
