Linda Kaye Ethridge

Our loving mother, Linda Kaye Ethridge, age 74, gained her wings on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. Momma was a wonderful mother who was always there whenever we needed her. She was a second mother figure to many and a very proud Maw Maw to 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Mom will be missed terribly by many.

Our mother was preceded in death by her parents, Coleman and Connie Mae Lucas; her brother, Jack Earle Lucas; sisters, Betty Jean Afinowicz and husband Leon and Wandalene Nutt and husband Clyde; son, Jeffrey Scott Jones; and grandsons, James Chatterton and Steven Lynch.

Our mother is survived by daughters, Vicki Chatterton of Teague, Crystal Lynch and husband Ricky of Teague; and son, David Jones and friends Crissy of Bokoshe, Okla.; bonus daughters, Nancy Nutt, Judy Venegas, Connie Johnson, and LaDonna Hendley.

Our mother will be cremated. We will have an informal memorial service in her honor for anyone who would like to pay their respects on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at the Marlin Volunteer Fire Department from 2-4 p.m.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Accent Care Hospice nurses Aimee and Meagan and caregiver Tammie for their excellent care they gave to our mother.
