Mary Agnes Puhalak Dimotsis age 88 passed on September 29, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas.

 

Mary Agnes was born in Marlin, Tx and resided in San Antonio. She graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in 1954 with BS in Medical Technology and a minor in Science.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lambros G. Dimotsis and her loving parents Joseph and Frances Puhalak, Aunt Agnes Sutter, granddaughter Christina Dimotsis, sister in-law Catherine D. Carson, brother in-laws Dr. JB Miller and George Lawson Harlan.

 

Surviving relatives include her children: George Dimotsis (Ellen), Pamela Layden (William), Nicholas Dimotsis (Jennifer Lawlace), John Dimotsis (Shae), and Paul Dimotsis, grandchildren: Catherine Schaefer (Sean), Michael Dimotsis (Melissa) and Stacey Dimotsis, Thomas and Jonathan Layden, Christopher, Matthew, David and Nicholas Dimotsis, great-grandchildren: Henry and Theodore Schaefer and Jacob Dimotsis, sisters: Rosalis Tyboroski (Julian) and Francis Miller, along with many nieces and nephews.

Mary was a loving mother and grandmother who also enjoyed spending time with her Schnauzers (June, Noel), fostering stray cats, listening to music, sang in the St Sophia choir and participated in various church groups. She retired from the Audie Murphy Veterans Hospital.

 

There will be a viewing from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Porter Loring Mortuary on McCullough Ave.

The interment will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Pallbearers are sons Nicholas, John and Paul, grandchildren: Jonathan, Christopher, Matthew, Nicholas and son in-law William Layden.
