Monroe E. Spradlin

Monroe E. Spradlin, 89 of Mineola, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. A Family Memorial Service is to be held at the Rosebud Senior Center on October 14, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. Monroe E. Spradlin was born on April 22, 1928 in Lott to Daniel S. Spradlin and Katherine Mae Miller Spradlin. Monroe was a mechanic and painter and spent much of his life in the Waco, Dallas, Tyler, Marlin, and Rosebud areas. He was a hard worker all his life. He was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church. During his years of service to his Lord, he was a Church Treasurer, and Deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel S. Spradlin and Katherine Mae Miller Spradlin; brothers, J. D. Cloer, William Spradlin and Jim Spradlin; sisters, Katherine Tidwell, and Geneva Warrick, and a daughter, Karen Eberlein. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Spradlin, married in 1991; son, Dan Spradlin of Temple; daughter, Sheila Tompkins, Chandler, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
