Norma L. Clements

Sept. 8, 1929 - Oct. 18, 2020

Norma L. Clements, 91, of Chilton, passed away at her home on Oct. 18, 2020, surrounded by family.

She was born Sept. 8, 1929, to Kenneth Sanner and Bertie Coffman.

She married David E. Clements on Sept. 14 in Decatur, Ill.

Mom can best be described as a lover of Jesus and of everyone God placed in her life. She was a true caregiver and mender of broken hearts. She gave unceasingly to her family and friends. We all knew of God’s unconditional love through her words of encouragement and her acts of service.  She made countless dollhouses for her grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren, and many other children, some she never had a chance to meet. She and our father began this labor of love, which she continued when Dad could no longer assist. One is in progress now.
Children were her passion and she provided many toys at Christmas and helped people in countless ways.  She also was an advocate for those with dementia and Alzheimer’s and devoted herself to caring for our Dad. If Mom had any final words, they would be the ones found on her answering machine, “and remember Jesus loves you.”

She was preceded in death by her parents; Colleen Woodrum and Donna Shrader; her brother, Kelly Sanner; and her beloved son, Kevin (Ric) Clements.

She is survived by her husband, David E. Clements; her children, David E. Clements Jr. at Katya of Greece, Michael Clements and Nori of Maui, George (Randy) Clements and Ofa of Chilton, and Jeanne Marie Robinson and Allen of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; brothers, Gary Sanner of Decanso, Calif., and Gerry Sanner of Alpine, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She will be cremated.
