Prince Ola Jackson

Mrs. Prince Ola Jackson fell asleep in the arms of her heavenly father on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Mrs. Jackson was born Aug. 19, 1941, in Chilton. She served the Central Texas community as an employee of the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marlin and Temple for 35 years. 

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted children: George (Pricilla) Jackson Jr. of Missouri City, Rev. Norris D. (Demetri ) Jackson of Bryan, Lonnie E. Jackson of Marlin, and Joycelyn J. Powell, of Fort Worth; a step-daughter, Anita (Robert) Shumake of Dallas; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby (Edward) Humphrey of Dallas; and three brothers, Joe Benson of Lubbock, Freddie L. (Darlene) Benson of Lancaster, and Jerry Benson of Dallas.

Her homegoing celebration will be at noon on Wednesday, April 7, at South Union 

Missionary Baptist Church, 1313 Waites St., Marlin, Texas. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Marlin. Viewing and visitation will be Tuesday, April 6, from 1-6 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, 208 Charles St., Marlin, Texas.
