Renee Alisa Rodriguez

Renee Alisa Rodriguez, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. Funeral service will be Monday, July 16, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Marlin. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at Adams Funeral Home. Renee was born December 31, 1970 in Marlin, Texas to Raul Rodriguez and Rose Martinez. Her beautiful life will be forever cherished through the lives of her children, Ryan Gonzales and Joshua Rodriguez; mother, Rose Martinez; father, Raul Ybanez Rodriguez and wife Maria; brother, Ronnie Rodriguez and wife Amy Rodriguez; as well as beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Renee was a beautiful woman who encouraged others through her many gifts. Renee studied at University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in Belton, Texas where she graduated with her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology. Renee loved working with special needs and underprivileged youth; she had a heart of gold and loved giving back to those who could give nothing in return. She had a passion for serving the Lord and loved sharing her faith with others. Renee had a very positive uplifting spirit; she never allowed negativity to defeat her. Her faith could move mountains. She adored her two children and worked diligently to teach them the word of God. Renee loved being with her mother; and spending time with her brother and his family. Her presence will be forever missed, but her memory will live in our hearts forever.
