A memorial service for friends and family will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, May 27, at the First Presbyterian Church, 1100 Carter Creek, Bryan TX.

Cadie was born to the late Dr. John Maurice “Doc” and Bernice Euletta Fitte on  March 15, 1935 in Marlin. Cadie graduated from Marlin High School in 1953. She was a proud graduate of Baylor University receiving her degree in nursing in 1957.  On Aug. 31, 1957, she married Hugh Thomas Davison, a high school classmate from nearby Reagan.

In 1963, Cadie and Tom moved to Bryan and Cadie worked as a nurse at the Student hospital at Texas A&M College while Tom finished his graduate work.  In 1965 they moved into their brand new and now well-loved home.  It was at this point that Cadie began to pursue her truest passion, raising her family, supporting Tom and developing eternal friendships based on faith, community service and fun.

Cadie is survived by her husband of 63 years, Tom Davison of Bryan; her daughter, Jyl Rittman and her husband Ken of Magnolia; and son, Jeff Davison and his wife Sarah of Belton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Bernice Fitte; and her older brother, Dwayne Fitte.
