Sandy Hodges

Sandy Hodges, 60, of Marlin, passed away on Sept. 22, 2019, in Marlin.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, 2019, at Adams Funeral Home with the Rev. Kurt Rutz officiating. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hodges was born on March 20, 1959, in Hearne, to Kenneth and Mary (Blair) Gentry. She loved people especially her grandsons; she was someone you could always count on. Sandy attended Grace Lutheran Church. Mrs. Hodges worked for Falls County in the Clerk’s Office for several years and as a funeral director for Adams Funeral Home.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dayne Gentry; and husband, Doyle Hodges.

Survivors include her son, Danny Singleton and his wife Amy; grandchildren, Chanse and Chase Singleton; sisters, Catherine LaBrec and  her husband David, and Karen Gentry Tanner; brothers, Jerry Gentry and Kenneth Gentry; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
