Vancy Roppolo Falco

Vancy Roppolo Falco, 96, of Marlin, peacefully passed away, Tuesday, June 7, 2021. 

A Rosary and Funeral Mass were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marlin. Graveside services were held immediately following at Calvary Cemetery, Marlin.

A reception was hosted by St. Joseph’s Catholic Church following the memorial service. 

Vancy Roppolo Falco was born to the late James Roppolo and Antonia Tusa Roppolo on Oct. 15, 1924, in Highbank. She graduated from Reagan High School in 1941. On Nov.16, 1941, she married Jack Frank Falco, her husband of 54 years. Vancy and Jack lived their entire lives in the Highbank/Marlin area and farmed and ranched there.

Vancy Roppolo Falco is survived by her two daughters, Paulette Falco Lloyd and her husband Albert of Brazoria, and Toni Falco Drysdale and her husband Thomas of Magnolia. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Anna Mae Randazzo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack F. Falco; her parents; a great-granddaughter, Rachel Musia; a brother, Nick Roppolo; sisters, Pauline Denena, Lena Falsone, Cora Marino, and Sarah Roppolo.
