Willie E. Bell

Willie Earnest Bell “Bennie Williams,” 77, formerly of Marlin, passed away on Jan. 25, 2022.  

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, at noon at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, Dallas, Texas. Viewing will be held Wednesday, Feb. 9,, from 11 a.m.  to 4 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home Chapel.   

Willie was born to the late Pauline Bell and Dennis Williams in Calvert. He accepted Christ at an early age joining Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He received his education from Booker T. Washington High School, Marlin, and he never stopped learning, receiving his MBA in 2019 from Strayer University.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline Bell and Dennis Williams; his sister, Emma Bell; his brother, Richard Bell; and son, Maurice Bell.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Imogene Bell; children, Carmen Bell Fulton (Jonathan), Herman E. Bell (Allandria), Chevella Bell, and Garon Gerard Bell (Monique); stepchildren, Cynthia Jones and Cassandra Orozco, siblings, Dennis Williams (Linda), Dave C. Williams, III (Yvonne), Nathan Williams, Robert Williams, Floyd Williams (Beverly), Katy Maxwell, Linda Johnson (John), Rickie Williams (Barbara), Melissa Williams-Fontenot, Ronnie Williams, Patrick Williams (Cissy) and Kimbella Williams-Hall (Floyd); his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
