A Cowboys Poem

 The old year, 2018, is soon to be history and as the new year, 2019, steps up, we all have the opportunity to make a new beginning! Many of us will resolve to make vast improvements in our daily habits, and though we are all determined to make it “stick” this time, historically, the good habits tend to fade into oblivion and the bad habits persevere! Maybe not with you, but that is the way it works with me.  I think all of America needs to take time to reflect on where we have been and where we are going. And maybe it is time to rethink our strategy for reshaping the circumstances that identify each and everyone of us. I am a Christian and I believe that Jesus died on the cross to forgive my sins as well as the sins of the world. Yes, I think we do need to hear that from time to time because we should all know that we are likely in as tough a situation as will ever come our way.
