The year 2020 was, for the most part, a weird and a horrible experience. To some, it could not have been worse, yet some of us were blessed to only suffer inconveniences.

On March 13, 2020, Gov. Greg Abbott issued a Disaster Declaration regarding mitigation efforts under COVID-19.
The state’s unemployment rate dropped to 6.8 percent in January, down a tick from December’s 6.9 percent rate but double the record low of 3.4 percent in May 2019.
Born Maewyn Succat, he changed his name to Patrick, which means “father figure,” when he became a priest.
