Baseball/Softball Weekly for Central Region

Baseball and softball are in full swing and the teams are already in district play action.

Cameron

The Yoemen fell to Little River Academy 6-4 and 11-7 this past week.

The Lady Yoe lost to Little River Academy 9-8 on Tuesday and 15-4 on Thursday, Cameron hosted Franklin on Tuesday, March 24. They will travel to Franklin on Friday, March 27 before heading to Thrall next Tuesday, March 31.

Thorndale

The Bulldogs defeated Bartlett 7-1 on Tuesday and lost to Wimberley 12-5 on Friday.

The Lady Bulldogs took a big win over Bartlett 17-1 last week.

Thorndale traveled to Bremond on Tuesday, March 24. Baseball will host Chilton and softball will travel to Pflugerville on Friday, March 27. The boys and girls will both travel to Holland next Tuesday, March 31.

Rosebud-Lott

The Cougars went 2-1 this past week. They defeated Chilton 21-0 and Holland 17-1 before falling to Maypearl 14-1.

According to Coach Drew Quinney, the Cougars are ranked #23 in the TX High School Baseball Top 25, and have three Top 25 wins. He noted that players to watch include senior Bo McGinniss - 2025 District Defensive MVP and who recently signed to continue his career Texas A&M Victoria, junior Pryce Rabroker - 2025 THSWA All State Pitcher, and sophomore Carter Doskocil - 2025 THSBCA All-State 3B.

The Lady Cougars fell to Holland 16-2 last week.

Rosebud-Lott baseball traveled to China Spring on Tuesday, March 24, as the girls played in Rockdale. They will travel to Granger on Friday, March 27 before hosting Bartlett next Tuesday, March 31,

Milano

The Eagles defeated Round Top-Carmine on the road last Tuesday 10-1 before falling to the Cubs at home on Friday 13-1.

The Lady Eagles lost to Burton 22-1 and 21-0 this past week.

Baseball hosted Iola and softball hosted Mumford on Tuesday, March 24. Baseball will travel to Iola and softball to Mumford on Friday, March 27. The boys will play BVHCEA on Monday, March 30. Baseball will head to Richards and softball to Somerville next Tuesday, March 31.
