Bulldogs lose in area round of playoffs

After winning its bidistrict playoff game, the Marlin boys’ basketball team was knocked out of the playoffs in the area round.
Marlin finishes its season with a 14-15 record.
Marlin edged Bosqueville, 49-47, to win in the bi-district round. Marlin was the third-place team in District 18-2A and Bosqueville had been the District 17-2A runner-up.
The Bulldogs’ season came to an end Friday with a 71-38 loss to District 20-2A champion Grapeland.
