Lady Bulldogs defeat Chilton Lady Pirates 3-2

The Marlin Lady Bulldogs volleyball team hosted the Chilton Lady Pirates on Friday. The Lady Bulldogs avoided the reverse sweep and defeated Chilton 3-2. 

Marlin won the first set 25-21, won the second set 26-24, lost the third set 27-25, lost the fourth set 25-17, and won the fifth set 18-16. With this win, Marlin now has a record of 12-11 and a district record of 1-4. 

After a road matchup with the Rosebud-Lott Lady Cougars on Tuesday, Marlin will return home to host the Riesel Lady Indians for their homecoming game. The game will be Friday, Oct. 20, and is set to start at 4:30 p.m.
