Lady Bulldogs volleyball schedule
The Marlin Lady Bulldogs volleyball team is coming off a season they would like to forget as they went winless last season. They hope to turn the tide around and make this season one to remember.
They start off the season with a home matchup on Aug. 10 against the Bynum Lady Bulldogs at 5 p.m. Marlin will have their first road game Aug. 13 against the Buffalo Lady Bison at 5 p.m. They will then head to Waco Rapoport Aug. 17 to take on the Lady Ravens at 5 p.m. Marlin will then participate in an in season tournament in Rosebud-Lott from Aug. 19-21. After that, Marlin will have an off day on Aug. 24. They will finish the month of August with two home games, against the Hearne Lady Eagles on Aug. 27 and the Itasca Lady Wampus Cats on the Aug. 31. Both games will be played at 5 p.m.
Marlin’s next game will be Sept. 3 on the road against the Mexia Lady Black Cats at 5 p.m. After that, the Lady Bulldogs will host the Lady Bearcats of Moody on Sept. 7 at 5 p.m. On Sept. 10 they will play their first district game of the season at home against the Hubbard Lady Jaguars at 4:30 p.m.
The Lady Bulldogs play their first road district game on September against the Coolidge Yellowjackets at 5 p.m. Marlins next matchup will be at home on Sept. 17 against the Wortham Lady Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. On Sept. 21, they will head to Mt. Calm to take on the Lady Panthers at 5 p.m. They will return home on Sept. 24 to host the Lady Panthers of Mart at 4:30 p.m. On Sept. 28, the Lady Bulldogs will host the Axtel Lady Longhorns at 5 p.m to finish the month.
Marlin will start the month on the road against the Bremond Tigresses on Oct. 1 at 4:30 p.m. The Lady Bulldogs will head on the road on Oct. 5 against the Hubbard Lady Jaguars at 5 p.m. Oct. 18 will be parent night for the Lady Bulldogs when they host the Coolidge Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. They will head back on the road for Oct. 12 against the Wortham Lady Bulldogs at 5 p.m. Marlin will be coming back home for Homecoming on Oct. 15 against the Mt. Calm Lady Panthers at 4:30 p.m. They will off the season with two straight road games. They face the Mart Lady Panthers on Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. and the Axtel Lady Longhorns on Oct. 22 at 4:30 p.m.
