Weekly Volleyball Results for Area Central Coverage Teams

With the regular season winding down, Central area teams continue to battle for a playoff spot, as bi-district begins October 30.

Tuesday, October 14

Cameron Yoe dropped their match against Lexington in three sets, 15-25, 1025, 17-25.

The JV Maroon lost to Lexington JV, 26-24, 20-25, 8-15. The JV Gray fell to Lexington JV in two sets, 10-25, 14-25.

The Buckholts Lady Badgers picked up a district win over Dime Box in five sets, 18-25, 25-7, 13-25, 2516, 16-14.

Rosebud-Lott Lady Cougars fell to Riesel in three sets, 20-25, 10-25, 2325, evening their district record at 3-3, and 14-13 overall.

Thorndale’s Lady Dogs beat Granger in four sets, 2523, 18-25, 26-24, 25-16. JV Maroon won in two sets, 2520, 25-17, and the JV Gold won their match against Granger’s JV in three sets, 19-25, 25-13, 15-6.

Thursday, October 16

The Thorndale Middle School Lady Dogs swept both matches against McDade. The 7th grade won 25-6, 25-4, and the 8th grade won 25-15, 25-17.

Friday, October 17

The Lady Yoemen lost to Thrall in a tough match, 21-25, 21-25, 23-25. Cameron Yoe moves to 1-6 in district play with two matches remaining, and 20-16 overall.

The JV Maroon dropped their match to Thrall JV, 22-25, 22-25, and the JV Gray fell to Thrall JV, 22-25, 23-25.

The Lady Badgers lost to North Zulch in three sets. Buckholts is 2-2 in district play and 11-5-1 overall.

Saturday, October 18

The Thorndale Lady Dogs defeated McDade’s Lady Dogs in four sets, 25-10, 22-25, 2512, 25-20. The JV Maroon won 25-8, 25-20, and the JV Gold beat McDade’s JV team, 25-8, 25-16.
