Womack accomplishes quadruple-double versus Dawson
Last week, Marlin Bulldog Senior, Mystique Womack accomplished an amazing milestone when she posted a quadruple-double, during the Bulldog’s thrashing of Dawson.
The double figure numbers came from four major categories, piling up 26 points, 16 rebounds, 12 assists, and 10 steals to help her team demolish Dawson 77-14.
Womack, one of the latest to sign up for the Alabama Crimson Tide, was nearly unstoppable in the Dawson game, though she has been hard to handle all season, Dawson in particular seemed unable to find an answer to stopping her rampage.
It was so one sided that she managed to land 10-of-15 shots, with three out of six coming from three point range, basically landing shots whenever she wanted.
To better explain the rarity of hitting on a quadruple-double, the last student to accomplish the feat, from a Central Texas school, was in the 2007-08 season, by Bruceville-Eddy’s Arianna Rodriguez.
Marlin, who made state finals last season in Class 3A, are looking to accomplish that feat once again this year, with a (21-6 overall. 10-0 in 182A) and a player of Mystique Womack’s caliber playing by their sides, the likelihood of a repeat performance, this time finishing with a championship trophy, is very likely.
