Grand Opening of the Chilton ISD Beauty Salon

On Thursday, February 19, 2026, 9 am-11 am, the Chilton ISD celebrated its Crowned and Certified Beauty Salon at the Chilton High School. Parents, community leaders, faculty, staff and friends were present to share in the grand opening. The students were hands-on as facials, styling techniques, nail care and additional professional techniques were showcased. The modern learning space provides a positive and rewarding atmosphere to learn the skills.

“I have enjoyed making this quick and easy recipe for many years. It is a favorite go-to meal because it’s easy to keep the ingredients on hand for use. This Cowboy Stew was especially simple to prepare after church services when a quick lunch allowed more time to visit. One of the many favorites of Jeanette Brothers and myself,” acclaims Derinda Austin.
