Nonprofit and disaster related organizations from across the state have showed up in Marlin to help residents get through another water plant failure.
The city of Marlin remained under a boil water notice as of Monday afternoon as crews continue working to resolve a widespread failure at the city’s water plant, which has left many residents without access to clean running water since April 29.

Falls County property owners who wish to protest their property tax appraisals have until May 15 to file a formal protest with the Appraisal Review Board (ARB). The protest process is designed to give residents the opportunity to dispute appraised market values, exemptions, special appraisals, and other property-related determinations made by the Falls County Appraisal District (CAD).
