Ever have to make cookies but have less amounts of one or two ingredients than you need? That happened to me when I wanted to make what I called Dad’s Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies. So, I proceeded to half the recipe, only to learn that I had mistakenly added too much of one thing and too little of another. But, go ahead and give this recipe a try; there is a surprise at the end!

Thirty years ago, on a Sunday morning as Mrs. Shirley Masters was on her way to church, a thought came into her Spirit. She wondered why God’s children were divided and why some are judged due to their race, creed, color, or denomination. Mrs. Masters asked, “Isn’t God the Father to all of us and why are there feelings of privileges and entitlement among His children?” Mrs. Masters decided to do something about it which resulted in God’s Rainbow of Many Colors becoming a Women’s Mission Program.

Falls Co. Food Spots: Thai Express in Marlin

Editor’s Note: I am eagerly starting the task of eating through all the local, non-fast-food eateries in Falls County, as part of my goal to get more familiar with the area.
