You know it. I know it. We all know it. Property taxes are crushing Texas families. Earlier this year, an analysis of U.S. Census data revealed Texas now has the 9th highest property tax burden in America — right alongside liberal states like New York, New Jersey, and Illinois. That is not a list Texas should be on.
