The Seniors from the Marlin Bulldogs Soccer team were honored at the last home game. They are Juan Pablo Hernandez and David Martinez. The Bulldogs defeated Hearne that night.
The Marlin Bulldogs basketball team traveled to Navarro College in Corsicana on Tuesday for the Area round of the playoffs. They took on the Martins Mill Mustangs and were defeated 44-26.
Marlin Senior Praiyer Jones signed a full track and field scholarship to compete for the University of Louisiana Lafeyette Rajin Cajuns. Jones is a State level competitor in field events.
The Marlin Bulldogs basketball team hosted the Bremond Tigers on Feb. 8. Marlin fell to the Tigers in a 43-40 nailbiter.
The season ended for the Marlin Lady Bulldogs basketball team on Monday night in the first round of the playoffs.
