A Regular Meeting of the Marlin City Council was held Tuesday, February 11, 2026, at 6 pm, Mayor Susan Byrd presiding. Council members present were Terence McDavid, William Roe, Cecil Sparks, Joe Mark Taylor, and Morris Watson, Jr. Council member Scottie Henderson was not in attendance. The minutes of the regular January 13, 2026 meeting and Special Called January 15, 2026 meeting were approved.

Courthouse Elevator Repairs Completed

The Falls County Commissioners Court met February 9, 2026, Judge Jay Elliott presiding. Commissioners present were Milton Albright (Pct. 1), F. A. Green (Pct. 2), Jason Willberg (Pct. 3) and Nita Wuebker (Pct. 4). ADA Steve Sharp was in attendance.
