The Marlin Fire Department along with the Marlin Volunteer Fire Department responded to a two story wood home fire on Thursday, November 24.
Railroad contractor contacted the City of Marlin to acknowledge them that replacement of the tracks through Marlin will take place November 28-29. Closures will be between 5a.m. and 5p.m.
Miss Shania Ford is a senior at Marlin High School. Her current GPA is a 4.0. She is the daughter of Eule & Angie Ford. She is the eldest of her siblings Aleisha & Trey Ford.
In 1892 hot mineral waters were found when early residents of the town drilled a well in search for an additional water source. Marlin then quickly grew, developing a health industry around it.
