The Falls County Blackland Row Crop Tour will take place Monday, June 16, beginning at 7:30 a.m. The annual event offers local producers a chance to explore test plots, hear from experts and earn continuing education units.
ROCKDALE ALCOA RETIREES MEETING The next meeting of the Rockdale ALCOA Retirees Meeting will be held Thursday, June 12 at the Thorndale Veteran’s Memorial Hall (formerly the VFW Hall). Falls County Sheriff’s deputies obtained an arrest warrant Thursday for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon following an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of June 4 in south Marlin.

A Gospel Explosion & Showcase will kick off the Marlin Juneteenth celebrations at the BTW Alumni building, 216 Falls Street, Tuesday, June 17at 6:00 pm. Sponsored by the Marlin Texas Juneteenth Organization, a variety of showcases including worship and praise, praise dancers and various culture dance teams from the local schools, monologues and poetry orations, will be highlighted. The program will feature a playact, “Delayed but NOT Denied” showcasing local talents of all ages.
