Old Settlers “Battle of Tomlinson Hill” Civil War re-enactment slated
The Old Settlers and Veterans Association of Falls County is set to host a re-enactment of the fictitious Civil War battle, “the Battle of Tomlinson Hill”, on May 20-21.

During last weeks regularly scheduled city council meeting, John Keefer, Terence McDavid, Susan Byrd and Curtis Smith were sworn into office.
This past Saturday, May 6, the city of Marlin let their voices be heard as a new Mayor was voted into office.
The Palace Theatre,] located on Heritage Row, in Downtown Marlin is known for performing plays and hosting special events throughout the year.
After serving the community of Marlin as Police Chief since former Chief Allen’s untimely passing in 2015, Chief Eaglin has officially resigned from the police department.
