Following the arrest of Marlin Police Officer, Travis Devone Cuthrell, a federal state agency that was backing the Marlin PD decided to pull its support of the police department on January 24.
In what appears to be a regular occurrence, a small group of individuals continue to go through donations left at the local Samaritan House.
Falls County Sheriff’s Office officials are currently investigating a drowning at the old city lake north of Marlin.
Officers received the call at approximately 5:48 pm Friday evening.
On Wednesday, March 22, the Falls County Sheriff’s Office went on a manhunt for three possible suspects in an attempted burglary of a habitation.
